Environmental Efforts

Jason Han

Candidate William Brydon hopes to raise concerns and increase efforts for reform in order to promote a better environment for all Americans, and the world as a whole. William Brydon plans to cut some of our usage of non-renewable resources, and promote further development of renewable resources and energy. This will keep the Earth in a healthier and more stable condition.
Additionally, the expansion of many industries cuts into the ecosystems of many endangered species. Brydon plans to increase the land that is incorporated into federal parks like Yellowstone and Yosemite, and also push for more anti-poaching laws to reduce the number of animals that are hunted illegally. The Brydon campaign does not believe in preservation, in which land is left completely untouched, but instead it believes in conservation, in which land is used sparingly and gradually, keeping things in balance between consumption and replenishment.
Another way in which the Brydon campaign plans to improve the environment ties in with immigration and economic concerns. By allowing more immigrants to enter the U.S., we expand the workforce. By adding more reforms and expanding national parks, we increase the need for jobs, which these immigrants can fill, which also aid in improving out economic status. Immigrants make up 16.7% of the workforce, which is no small matter. Additionally, improving the ability of law-abiding illegal immigrants to become U.S. citizens will also improve the economy, because they will now be paying taxes and other expenses, when before they would not.
William Brydon plans on improving the environment and seeking out cleaner alternative fuel and energy sources. A multitude of immigration and economic improvements will also take place as a result of increased focus towards improving and rebuilding the environment.
